Mother’s Day breakfast

Sunday, May 10th, 2026 is just around the corner! As is our tradition, we’ll be treating our mums to a delicious Bollé Bollé Mother’s Day breakfast, fresh from the bakery!

This year, we are once again delighted to be working with Bakkerij Vermeulen and the local businesses of Boortmeerbeek. The bakery will provide carefully curated and delicious breakfast boxes. On Mother’s Day, our own volunteers will be happy to ensure that the breakfast is delivered to your home (in the boroughs of Boortmeerbeek).

Not at home yourself? Why not surprise someone else with a box delivered to their door! Don’t live in Boortmeerbeek, Hever or Schiplaken? You can also collect your breakfast yourself from the bakery in Schiplaken.

We use the proceeds from the sale to further support our projects in Tanzania. We continue to do this in the spirit of Father Albert Bolle.

This year, we are allocating the proceeds from the breakfast campaign to the further expansion of St. Desiderius Pre- and Primary School in Kibigiri (Singida region). This co-educational primary school with a boarding facility has a large proportion of pupils from families living in poverty. As a result, they have few resources of their own to improve the school in terms of water and food supplies and infrastructure. In 2024, we supported the installation of water tanks for their water supply. In 2025, we built a new dining hall and kitchen.

This year, the sisters asked for help with the construction of a new dormitory. Currently, the boys and girls sleep in the same dormitory, but this occasionally causes some inconvenience. That is why we are supporting the school in building a separate dormitory for the girls.

What do we offer?

For adults, we offer a standard breakfast box and a mum’s treat breakfast box. Would you like some cava with your breakfast? If so, you can order it separately this year.

• The standard breakfast box (€22) includes rolls, a croissant, a raisin bun, sweet and savoury spreads, an egg, fruit juice, tea, yoghurt and fruit.
• The mum’s treat breakfast box (€25) includes rolls, a croissant, a raisin bun, sweet and savoury spreads, an egg, fruit juice, tea, yoghurt, fruit and extra sweet treats.
• A bottle of cava (25 cl): €5

We also offer a well-stocked children’s box for €13,50 per child, which is sure to delight children up to 12 years old.

Orders are delivered to your home (Boortmeerbeek). You can choose:

• between 7.30am and 8.30am
• between 8.30am and 9.30am

You can also collect your order yourself from the bakery in Schiplaken between 7am and 12pm.

How can you place an order?

There are two ways to place your order:

• You can fill in the online order form on our website 
  PLEASE NOTE: your order will only be confirmed once the total amount has been transferred to account number BE35 7340 2236 1337 (BIC: KREDBEBB) in the name of Bollé Bollé vzw, quoting “Mother’s Day breakfast – Order XXX” (you will see the order number after clicking the “Submit” button).
• You can place and pay for your order in person at Bakkerij Vermeulen in Schiplaken.
