Although this secondary boys' school in Singida was not started by Father Albert Bolle, it is fully in line with his ideology. At the request of the diocese of Singida, where Father Bolle also manned a mission post before Igunga, we entered into a partnership. For example, we built a multifunctional hall (2020) and a school library (2021). In exchange for this transfer, the orphan boys of Mama Alvera in Kishuro have been able to attend this secondary school completely free of charge since 2021. This allows them to enjoy high-quality English-language education, which means a huge boost to their future prospects.
The final part of the agreement consists of providing sustainable energy. That is why three technicians from Bollé Bollé Belgium travelled to Tanzania in 2024 to provide this school with sustainable electricity again in just under three weeks, together with the local construction team. Thanks to 48 solar panels of 435Wp and a battery bank of 67kWh, but also 150 energy-efficient LED luminaires and 3 kilometers of new electricity cables, the entire school has been running 100% on solar energy since February. As a result, they no longer suffer from the almost daily power outages that plague the country and the 350 boarding students can also study there in the evenings without any problems in bright light.
A world of difference for the school and another dream that came true!
